Izak Davel needs no introduction to the South African public. Known for his TV role for almost 3 years in Egoli, Izak made his musical debut in 2007. His debut release to Date has sold 19 000 units and still going. His second release in 2009, was also a huge success, with sales just over 15 000 and still going. Izak is the lead role in the highly anticipated movie "getroud met rugby" which launches on the 11th of March 2011. One of the songs performed will be the key track in their marketing campaign, as well as the first video to be done for the album, will consist of the "getroud met rugby" footage, to help boost interest in the movie, and Sales on the CD side. This movie is expected to be one of the top 3 Afrikaans movies for the year.
