1001 (Duisend en Een)

Steve Hofmeyr is definitely the biggest male artist in South Africa without a doubt. Having been the most succesfull artist in the Afrikaans music scene for the last 25 years, its no wonder that his album 1001 - was the 3rd biggest seller last year of all genre of music. Following the success of the album, Steve has just written a song "ONS SAL DIT OORLEEF" that was supposed to be only on his new album end of the year. Steve and EMI then decided to do a music video of the song, to only release on YouTube, as a teazer for the new album. The response however have been overwhelming in the sense that from the day of loading the video, it set up new records for any local Afrikaans artist, for most downloads first day, first week, first month viewings. This has resulted in us, putting all the new album videos as an ad on on DVD "Juliett" FM Stereo, and Blou Ballon" and exclusively only available on the re-release including the DVD "Ons sal dit oorleef".
